A . CRAZY QUILTING – BASIC6 HOURS (2 DAYS IS MUCH BETTER)

Create beautiful crazy quilting using a sewing machine for the base work. Using a muslin base, you are guided through the various steps of making a heart shaped pillow or an 11" square. The afternoon features embroidery, beading, laces, and ribbons. Page 19 - Crazy Quilt Handbook.

SUPPLIES (Please refer to the basic supplies list also.)

• Sewing machine • Variety: needles • Size 10-Sharps needle • Beads & Nymo thread • 13" sq fancy fabric backing (for pillow) • Braids & trims • Laces, medallions • 12 fancy fabrics- moirés, satin, silk, polys., cotton (use solids, textures, prints)

• 3 (13") sq. muslin (2 for pillow insert) • Large template plastic. • Buttons, doodads • Polyfil for pillow insert (don't bring to class) • Variety Embroidery threads- variegates • Variety ribbons 3/8th-1" wide. Satin, sheer,wire • 4mm / 7mm silk ribbons variegates & solids
