This hinged needlecase looks a bit like a delectable Easter egg. You can't stop after making just one. These cases also are wonderful gifts and can be converted into a pouch or a Christmas Ornament. Page 48 The Crazy Quilt Handbook 2nd Edition.

SUPPLIES (Please refer to the basic supplies list also.)

• Small scraps of 6 to 8 fancy fabrics in solids, textures and prints • Two 6" squares of muslin • 10" sq. 200 wt. Crescent art board. • 12" fancy fabric for lining and backing. • Sewing machine • 12" long heavy 1" -wide velvet ribbon (for needles)

• satin ribbon (for ties and hinge) • 6" x 15" fleece • 18" cording for edging • water erasable pen or white marker • 5" x 7" rectangle of template plastic for window pattern • Fabric glue • Variety embroidery threads. beads, lace • Darning needle and strong thread
