Q. CHICKEN BUMBLE PIN CUSHION

A bumble was originally a Victorian toy made for babies. I was gifted with a crazy quilt bumble in Australia, and fell in love with it. Later I saw a rooster bumble made with quilted squares - and then made one of crazy quilting for a friend. They are so much fun to make.

• 8 fancy fabrics - solids,

textures and prints
• On each 4" sq. And 1" sq. of

fancy fabric (for tail)
• Sewing Machine
• One 3 " x 13 " sq. of fancy

fabric (for tail, 2nd. part)
• One 4" sq. red fabric for

wattle and comb

• One 2" sq. gold fabric for beak
• Metallic threads
• Polyester fibre fill
• Two black beads for eyes
• Polyester fibre fill
• Variety-embroidery threads
• Nymo beading thread, beads
• Buttons and doodads
• Lace and trims
• 4mm. silk ribbons
