D. GARDEN PATHWAYintermediate to advanced 2 DAYS to 5 DAYS

This project features an English cottage in a garden incorporating over 50 needlework techniques! You may use the pattern provided or bring a cottage photo and Judith will help you adapt the design. Bring mat with 9”x 14” opening! Student must know basic crazy quilting. Page 137 Elegant Stitches.

SUPPLIES (Please refer to the basic supplies list also.)

• Sewing machine • 15” x 10” muslin for base • 6 pale sky blue fabrics (solid) • 32 - 8” sqs of small-print fabrics (8 light, 8 med light, 8 dusty, 8 dark.) • 10” sq. Aida cloth, small weave • 16 “ sq. milky template plastic • Lace, trims, braids • Ribbons, variety satin, sheer & wire 3/8" to 1" widths. • Nymo thread, beads, buttons and doodads. • 4mm silk ribbons: 4 greens, 8 floral shades • 2 – 1 yd. lengths 3/8” ribbons • Brown & black Pigma pens • Variety of threads - metallics, silks, cottons, yarns. (solids, variegates) • Mat – 9” x 14” Must bring to class. Can be home made. • Teacher will bring paints/brushes. (not over seas). • Note! If 5 day seminar we will follow the format of - G.
