A confection of clear, vibrant colours topped off with ribbon roses and embroidery. The cord is a combination of fine cords tightly braided and forming a tassel. The background is a crazy quilted circle. The silk embroidery flows over the background. Finished Size - 4” circle. Page 95 Crazy Quilt Odyssey.

SUPPLIES (Please refer to the basic supplies list also.)

• Sewing machine • 6” square of muslin • Fancy fabrics, solid colours - six pieces • 3/8” satin ribbon, two colors 1/2" satin ribbons • Fine cords, at least 2 yds each • 8” square temp plastic • variety of 4 mm silk ribbon greens and floral shades • 15" square fleece • Darning needle and strong thread

• Embroidery threads, green and gold • 4” embroidery hoop • Pearl buttons — small • Large beads, doodads • Seed beads, variety of colors • 4” circle - 200 wt. Crescent art board • 4” circle of leather. • Beads, Nymo thread
