H. SEASHELL NEEDLECASE AND SCISSOR CASE

Two very pretty projects made in the shape of sea shells. The needle case is a scallop
shell and the scissor case is a cone shell. Each project is embroidered with silk ribbon
embroideryand metallic threads. Pages 92 and 93 in Art and Inspirations.

• 1/4 yd. Thai silk
• 1/4 yd. muslin
• 10” square of thin, smooth

posterboard
• 2-1/2 yd. lengths of 1/4”

organza ribbon
• One ball button
• 3 colours of 3/8” satin ribbon
• Variegated metallic thread

• 12” square milky template

plastic
• 1/2 yd. fancy cording
• Fresh water pearls
• 4mm silk ribbon - 5 greens

and 10 floral colors
• Beads and Nymo beading

thread and #10 sharps

beading needle
• 4" or 5" embroidery hoop
