A. LANDSCAPE PAINTINGS6 HOURS

Create an unusual fabric picture using exotic fabrics and Victorian stitches. This is an original art form used by Judith to create one-of-a-kind pictures. Can be beaded and embellished for extra detail. (Keep it small ... 8" x 10" is good). Page 96, Crazy Quilt Odyssey, Page 74 & 76 Art and Inspirations. Must bring a matt with an 8" x 10" opening!

SUPPLIES (Please refer to the basic supplies list also.)

• Sewing machine • 16” plastic template • Matte art board with desired size opening (must bring!) • Variety of variegated yarns and threads • Beads, Nymo beading thread • Tacky glue and glue stick • 2 - 12” squares muslin • Sky blue fabric and various 12 fancy fabrics. keep pattern pieces mottled.

• 12” square Pellon fleece • Metallic threads • Buttons and finding to add to to foreground • Variety of organza, netting, tulle and cheese cloth • Masking tape • *Optional - punch needle • Variety of ribbons, satin, sheer & wire • Embroidery floss and buttonhole twist • Variety of 4 mm and 7mm varieagated silk ribbon • 11" x14" surround with 8" x 10" inside opening
