B. PAINTING WITH FABRICS - Sea or Land 2 DAYS

Create a work of art using burned and wrinkled fabrics, smocking, a variety of fabrics and threads. Bring your favorite photo or scene to be made into a Crazy Quilt Landscape or Seascape. Picture can be 14” x 20” (no larger). Page 148, 158 Elegant Stitches, Page 103 Silk Ribbon Embroidery.

SUPPLIES (Please refer to the basic supplies list also.)

• 1 sky fabric & variety of fabrics- (solids, textures,mottled prints) silks, cottons, polys. • Variety-Yarns, ribbons • Variety of variegated embroidery threads. • 1/2 yard muslin for base • 6" Embroidery Hoop • Matt with inside opening - size of project. Must Bring!!!! • 1 sheet tracing paper, 1 sheet sketch paper

• Variety of needles • Variety of organza, netting, tulle and cheese cloth • Iron-on-Pellon • Sewing machine • beads, buttons, doodads • Nymo beading thread • Tacky glue, watercolor pencils • Judith will bring paints and brushes (not overseas) • Punch needles ...optional • Variety of laces
